Cast Ductile Iron Pressure Released Control Valve With Brass Fittings

The 500X pressure relief / sustaining valve consists of a main valve, a pressure relief/sustaining pilot valve needle valve, a ball valve, a micro-filter and a pressure gauge to form a hydraulic control pipe system. Using hydraulic automatic operation, it can be used not only as a pressure relief valve but also as a pressure sustaining valve.

1. When used as a pressure relief valve, it can maintain the pressure of the water supply line below the set safety value;
2. As a pressure sustaining valve, it can maintain the upstream water pressure of the main valve above the set value and maintain the upstream water supply pressure of the main valve.

The 500X pressure relief/sustaining valve is mainly used in firefighting or other water supply systems to prevent system overpressure or maintain the pressure of fire water supply systems. The impact of water hammer can also be reduced after the fire pump is turned off. Also used in water hammer devices for large water supply systems. In addition, a clean filter is installed at the inlet of the valve control system. Using the characteristics of the fluid, the suspended particles with large specific gravity and large diameter will not enter the control system, ensuring the smooth circulation of the system and making the valve operate safely and reliably. The system operates smoothly, with high strength and long service life.
